I've released some new "Test Features" for On Unnamed Horizons- basically just some new Features for players which have been rattling around my notes for a bit.
Fair warning: none of these have been tested unlike those Features from the main book, but hopefully they're all fun or worth a test.
Also I wrote these up in a day and am realizing at the time of writing I forgot to run spellcheck but:
here we are.
EDIT: Spellcheck has been run- but the pain remains.
- In general more stuff relating to Armor & demoralization
- adapting an idea or two from better people
- Some new options for Stances & Weapon Training
- An update for Muted Verse
- MANY DUMB MAGIC USERS- even though this isn't GLOG, it's inescapable that magic is rad
- harvesting the souls of your enemies as quick unique spells, outside the Word system
- swapping around Words to transmute things
- chainsmoking your stress and building computers out of spells
- the choice of either being a useless random guy or doing that cult brand tm blood sacrifice
- spelling your spells, usually getting gross for them vowels
- adapting other people's cooler stuff
- boy adventurer-ing. It's not even an attempt at a wizard, it's a narrative mechanic in a trenchcoat
Give it a look under OUH - Test Features, found on
